Volleyball Recap: Irondequoit Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Churchville-Chili, Irondequoit was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Brighton Bruins by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Irondequoit's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Brighton, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Irondequoit will take on rival Penfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brighton is set to face off against their familiar foe Webster Schroeder at 6:30 p.m. on the 29th.
