Soccer Recap: North Vermilion Extends Winning Streak to Seven

North Vermilion had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the New Iberia Yellowjackets an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won eight matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

North Vermilion has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 53 goals over those 11 games. As for New Iberia, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14-1.
