Volleyball Game Preview: Hankinson Pirates vs. Oakes Tornadoes

After both having extra time off, the Hankinson Pirates and the Oakes Tornadoes will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakes took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Hankinson, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, it was close, but Hankinson sidestepped Richland for a 3-2 win.

Meanwhile, Oakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock.

Oakes' defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Hankinson, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1-1.

Hankinson beat Oakes 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Tornadoes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
