Basketball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North lost against Louisville back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Vikings were beaten by the Louisville Leopards 86-35. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Louisville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Gross, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine boards. Gross is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last seven games he's played. Avery Andrejcik was another key player, shooting 60% from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and three steals.

North's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Louisville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Louisville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 83-51 win against Cuyahoga Falls on the 26th.
