Baseball Recap: Wesclin Takes a Loss

Wesclin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Breese Central Cougars, falling 16-6. That's two games in a row now that the Warriors have lost by exactly ten runs.

Owen Szpila and Ayden Peterson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Szpila scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Peterson scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Wesclin's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Breese Central, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Wesclin will square off against Marissa at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Breese Central, they will challenge Greenville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
