The Pass Christian Pirates will take on the Ocean Springs Greyhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pass Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Tuesday, Pass Christian lost to Petal on the road by a 57-40 margin.

While Ocean Springs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 47-40 victory over Bay on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Pass Christian better keep an eye on Starr Jackson. She was instrumental in Ocean Springs' win, going 8-for-11 on her way to 19 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Jackson now owns an excellent 46.6% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Yana Newsome, who posted eight points.

Pass Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Ocean Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
