Ubly has gone 9-1 against Harbor Beach recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bearcats will square off against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m.

Ubly's tournament run continued when they took on Calumet on Saturday. The Bearcats fell 2-0 to the Copper Kings. The shutout was out of character for the Bearcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Meanwhile, Harbor Beach had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Chiefs as they made off with a 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Pirates have posted against the Chiefs since October 18, 2022.

While Harbor Beach won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 26-24, 25-17.

Ubly better focus on containing Reese Booms and Keltie Deer as the pair were huge in Harbor Beach's win. Booms had 23 digs and three assists, while Deer had 12 assists and nine digs. Booms has been hot recently, having posted 21 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Ubly's loss dropped their record down to 14-3-3. As for Harbor Beach, they now have a winning record of 8-7-3.

Ubly took their win against Harbor Beach when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Bearcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
