Baseball Recap: Lafayette Central Catholic Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Lafayette on Wednesday, Lafayette Central Catholic came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos on Friday, falling 9-2. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lafayette Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Lafayette Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Lafayette Central Catholic will head out on the road to face off against Rensselaer Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
