Football Recap: Sacred Heart Beats Wilkinson County for Their Fourth Straight Win

Sacred Heart had won three straight games and Luke Davey did his part to make it four on Friday. The Crusaders blew past the Wilkinson County Wildcats 37-14 for which the team can thank Davey, who rushed for 236 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 64 yards.

Sacred Heart's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Wilkinson County, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Sacred Heart and Wilkinson County will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Crusaders will challenge rival East Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wilkinson County is set to face off against their familiar foe Loyd Star at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
