Breckinridge County is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Doss on Friday. The Fighting Tigers claimed a resounding 35-6 victory over the Dragons.

Meanwhile, Waggener had to suffer through a 52-21 loss at the hands of North Oldham. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Breckinridge County's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5. As for Waggener, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
