Volleyball Recap: Horizon Honors Has No Trouble Against NFL yet Academy

Horizon Honors's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over NFL Yet Academy. Horizon Honors hasn't had any issues with NFL Yet Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Horizon Honors' got stronger as the match went on, holding NFL Yet Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-13, 25-11.

Audrey Anglada paced Horizon Honors' offense, picking up seven kills. Anglada got some help from Harper Vanderwall and her 14 assists. Makayla Aaron controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Horizon Honors picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-18. As for NFL Yet Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Horizon Honors has already played their next contest (against Rancho Solano Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for NFL Yet Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Heritage Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
