Basketball Game Preview: Sterling Raiders vs. Randle Lions

It was another big night for Destiny Lewis, who went 11 for 21 on her way to 27 points in addition to seven assists and six steals. Lewis is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least four every time she's taken the court this season. Brianna Smith was another key player, going 5 of 11 to rack up 16 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Randle had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.8 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 last Friday. They blew past the Cougars 57-13. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 28 points or more this season.

Sterling better keep an eye on Alaysia Cook. She was instrumental in Randle's win, going 10 for 22 en route to 25 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Kurynn McNeill, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Randle's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points over those games. As for Sterling, their win bumped their record up to 16-13.
