Basketball Recap: Craig Comes Up Short

Craig lost against Metlakatla back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Craig Panthers were dealt a 72-36 defeat at the hands of the Metlakatla Chiefs. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Craig's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Metlakatla, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

While Craig had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
