Volleyball Recap: Pender Patriots vs. Fairmont Golden Tornadoes
Pender gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They blew past the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes 3-0.
The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 32-30, 29-27.

Jensen Bordeaux had a dynamite game, getting 38 digs, six kills, and three aces. Those 38 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eden Gurganous, who had 27 digs and two aces.
