Girard had won two straight games and Aly Gassman did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Girard Indians simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hubbard Eagles 58-21 thanks in part to Gassman, who went 9 for 19 en route to 23 points in addition to six boards and five assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Girard's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Hubbard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Girard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-25 loss against West Branch on the 8th. Hubbard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
