Basketball Recap: Forest Hill Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Forest Hill can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-35 win over the Leonard Lancers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-33 on January 8th.

Leonard lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jaylynn Stone, who posted 11 points. Witney Naurelus was another key player, putting up ten points.

Forest Hill's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14. As for Leonard, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Hill will face off against Saint Andrew's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Andrew's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.8 points per game this season. As for Leonard, they will head out on the road to take on Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
