Volleyball Recap: Workman Comes Up Short

Workman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Baldwin Park Braves. If the Lobos were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Braves when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 25-16.

Workman's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Baldwin Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Workman will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against El Rancho at 5:00 p.m. As for Baldwin Park, they will face off against The Webb Schools at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
