Recap: Stockbridge Tigers vs. North Hall Trojans

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Stockbridge Tigers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They breezed by North Hall at home to the tune of 48-0. The win was familiar territory for Stockbridge who now have nine in a row.

Stockbridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden "duke" Scott, who rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Scott really tore up the turf during one magnificent 99-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Cobey Thompkins, who threw for 131 yards and three touchdowns.

Stockbridge's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.8 points per game. As for North Hall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Stockbridge's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Westminster at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Westminster will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. North Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
