Caleb McCauley put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Monday. He wasn't messing around, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off eight hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his third straight with six or more strikeouts.

Coming up, McCauley and Elkins will venture away from home to take on Robert C. Byrd at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McCauley had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest on April 9th 9-0. If he drops another game like that, the outcome could be different this time around.
