Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somerset Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Somerset, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Southside on the 22nd. As for Somerset, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Southwest Legacy on the 22nd.
