Baseball Recap: Archbishop Mitty Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Archbishop Mitty's offense. They came up short against the St. Mary's Rams on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Monarchs of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Archbishop Mitty has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for St. Mary's, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Archbishop Mitty wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-2 win against Pleasant Grove on the 16th. As for St. Mary's, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 victory against St. Ignatius College Preparatory on the 16th.
