Football Recap: Chaminade Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chaminade lost against Servite back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles took a blow against the Friars, falling 46-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Servite's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kale Murphy, who threw for 152 yards and three TDs while completing 73.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 61 yards on only five carries. Gavin Gutierrez was another key back, rushing for 84 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries.

Chaminade now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Servite, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Chaminade has already played their next matchup, a 27-14 defeat against Beaumont on the 12th. As for Servite, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 29-23 victory against Notre Dame (SO) on the 12th.
