The Westbury Huskies fell victim to the Bellaire Cardinals's stalwart defense on Wednesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The shutout was out of character for Westbury seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.
Westbury now has a losing record at 4-5-7. As for Bellaire, they now have a winning record of 7-6-7.
Westbury will head out on the road to challenge Westside at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Westside's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Bellaire, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-1 draw vs. Houston Math Science & Tech on the 2nd.
