Baseball Recap: Troy Gets the Win

Troy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cohoes Tigers 3-1.

Troy's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kayne Behan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Gabe Bentley was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs.

Troy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cohoes, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Troy is set to square off against their familiar foe Lansingburgh at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cohoes will take on rival Mohonasen at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
