Whitmer has gone 8-1 against Northview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers duke it out with the Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. Whitmer knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 matchups -- so hopefully Northview likes a good challenge.

Whitmer is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Bowling Green 91-46. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Bobcats are ranked 551st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Northview didn't have quite enough to beat Southview on Friday and fell 49-47.

Whitmer's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.1 points over those games. As for Northview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Whitmer took their victory against Northview in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 88-66. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitmer since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
