Volleyball Recap: Rio Mesa Find Success

Rio Mesa won the last time they faced Santa Ynez and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans skirted past the Pirates 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Rio Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Santa Ynez, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Rio Mesa will face off against Buena at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Ynez, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Bakersfield Christian on the 21st.
