Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Central challenged Onsted on Monday. The Central Bearcats lost 58-37 to the Onsted Wildcats.

Onsted's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but JT Hill led the charge by going 6 of 14 on his way to 12 points in addition to eight boards and four steals. Hill is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Talan Hutchinson, who posted 11 points along with five assists and four steals.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Onsted, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Central will host Norrix at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Onsted will take on Blissfield in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
