Softball Recap: Barbourville Comes Up Short

Barbourville fell victim to Harlan and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 7-0 to the Green Dragons. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Barbourville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Harlan, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Barbourville will take on Lynn Camp at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Harlan, they will head out to challenge Letcher County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
