The El Camino Wildcats will face off against the University City Centurions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Camino is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

El Camino took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over Fallbrook. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

El Camino kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, University City came up short against Tri-City Christian last Thursday and fell 7-4. The Centurions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyssa Castillo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI. Samantha Weathers was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

University City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for El Camino, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

El Camino's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's game. The Wildcats have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for University City, though, as they've been averaging only 0.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will El Camino continue to outrun the ball?
