Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Union). Their defense stepped up to hand the Kern Valley Broncs an 11-0 shutout on Wednesday. With that victory, the Broncos brought their scoring average up to 4.5 goals per game.

The win (which was Bishop Union's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Kern Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
