Baseball Recap: Lexington Comes Up Short

Lexington lost against Shelby back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Minutemen came up short against the Whippets, falling 12-2. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Shelby, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington will host Madison Comprehensive at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelby, they will be playing at home against Perkins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
