Softball Recap: Wapello's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Wapello owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders with a sharp 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Wapello's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wapello will take on WACO on Thursday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.29 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, they will challenge Central Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
