After losing to Solvay the last time they met, Westhill decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Bearcats 3-2 on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Samantha Snyder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sophia Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Westhill's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Solvay, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westhill will welcome West Genesee at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Solvay, they will host Cazenovia at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
