Volleyball Recap: Pria Adhikari Key Part of Team Effort in Warriors Win

There's no place like home for Harvest Community, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Yulee Hornets on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Harvest Community's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-12, 25-10.

Harvest Community got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Pria Adhikari out in front who had 13 digs and six aces. That's the most aces Adhikari has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Harris, who had 19 assists and five digs.

They weren't the only good server: Harvest Community was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Yulee only served six aces.

Mylie Breutzmann and Chloe Carroll certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Breutzmann had 13 digs and two aces, while Carroll had four digs and two aces.

Harvest Community's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Yulee, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Harvest Community will challenge Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yulee, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against West Nassau on the 26th.
