The Perry Central Commodores will head out on the road to face off against the Wood Memorial Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Perry Central and five for Wood Memorial.

Audra Harbaville made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Rory Craney, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Wood Memorial's offense. They lost 10-0 to Southridge on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Wood Memorial has lost by exactly ten runs.
Perry Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Wood Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
Perry Central beat Wood Memorial 11-8 in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Perry Central since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
