Valley Stream Central strolled into their game on Friday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Westbury Green Dragons with a sharp 14-4 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Justin Owolabi was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Justin Camacaro also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Valley Stream Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .833. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Valley Stream Central pushed their record up to 14-0-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Westbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
