It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Miami had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Coral Gables Cavaliers. The Stingarees haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
Despite the loss, Coral Gables still got an impressive performance from Mariano Beytia, who had 17 assists and 14 digs. William Hardie was another key player, getting 23 digs and two assists.
Miami's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Coral Gables, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.
