Volleyball Recap: Staley Wins Going Away Against Raymore-Peculiar

Staley's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Raymore-Peculiar Panthers.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Staley was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-10.

Brandon Stearns paced Staley's offense, picking up seven kills. Stearns got some help from Lawson Stuhlsatz and his 17 assists. Stuhlsatz was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Staley's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14-1 record this season.

Staley has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Lee's Summit West on the 17th. As for Raymore-Peculiar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Grain Valley on the 17th.
