Monte Vista extended their postseason success on Saturday against Bonita Vista. They strolled past the Bonita Vista Barons with points to spare, taking the game 38-21. The win was nothing new for the Monarchs as they're now sitting on five straight.

Derrick Taylor threw for 62 yards on only five passes.

Although Bonita Vista took the loss, they still got scores from Diego Luna, Estevan Flores, and Hayden Mcmackin.

Monte Vista has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.5 points per game. As for Bonita Vista, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Monte Vista wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 41-21 victory against Pasadena on the 7th. Bonita Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
