Basketball Game Preview: Wyandotte Bulldogs vs. Harmon Hawks

The Wyandotte Bulldogs will take on the Harmon Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Wyandotte and 21 for Harmon dating back to last season.

Last Thursday, Wyandotte came up short against Blue Valley West and fell 47-36.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jaida Johnson, who posted eight points and 13 rebounds. She has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaylynn Hunt, who had nine points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-21, which was the final score in Harmon's tilt against Sumner Academy on Thursday.

Wyandotte now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Harmon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Wyandotte was able to grind out a solid victory over Harmon in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 27-16. Does Wyandotte have another victory up their sleeve, or will Harmon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
