Baseball Recap: Harlan Comes Up Short

The matchup between Harlan and Sotomayor on Saturday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Hawks fell just short of the WILDCATS by a score of 10-9. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the WILDCATS this season, with their most recent defeat being a 1-0 loss on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Harlan and nudges their season record down to 15-14. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Sotomayor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7-1.

As of now, neither Harlan nor the WILDCATS have any future games scheduled.
