Soccer Preview: Jefferson Area vs. Cornerstone Christian        
        
		
             The Jefferson Area Falcons have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome the Cornerstone Christian Patriots at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
 Jefferson Area's offense might be in the hot seat  on Thursday considering what happened against Berkshire  last Tuesday. They lost  5-0 to the Badgers.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Cornerstone Christian). Their defense stepped up to hand Shaw  an   8-0 shutout  last Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Patriots needed considering they were shutout in their previous   game.
 Their offense was hitting Shaw from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. 
 Nolan Tautges led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.
 Jefferson Area's loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season.
