Softball Recap: Brawley Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Brawley challenged Imperial on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Brawley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caitlyn Padilla, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Brawley's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Imperial, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season.

While Brawley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
