Soccer Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry's game on Saturday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Mount Morris Blue Devils by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that Perry have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Perry and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Mount Morris, they moved to 2-8 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Perry will head out to square off against Letchworth at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mount Morris, they will take on Lima Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Morris will be up against Lima Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.8 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
