Basketball Recap: Bobby Meara Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat James River Homeschool

After losing to James River HomeSchool the last time they met, Veritas Christian Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went Veritas Christian Academy's way against the James River HomeSchool Eagles on Saturday as Veritas Christian Academy made off with a 46-22 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Veritas Christian Academy.

Veritas Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bobby Meara out in front who posted ten points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallas Tanis, who put up 11 points and five boards.

Veritas Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-14. As for James River HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.

Veritas Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for James River HomeSchool, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-43 win against Westside Christian Academy on the 8th.
