Soccer Recap: Miami Beach Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Mater Brickell Academy

There's no place like home for Miami Beach, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They never let the Mater Brickell Academy Bulls onto the board and left with a 2-0 win on Thursday. Given the Hi-Tides' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Bulls are ranked 464th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kai Somoano and Tomas Cortez scored both of Miami Beach's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.
