Flag Football Game Preview: Davis Sr. Blue Devils vs. Whitney Wildcats + How To Watch

The Davis Sr. Blue Devils will face off against the Whitney Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither Davis Sr. nor Whitney posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Davis Sr.'s offense might be in the hot seat on Tuesday considering what happened against Rocklin on Thursday. They were dealt a 45-0 loss at the hands of the Thunder. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Thunder recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Davis Sr. didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Daniela Cabrera-Carrasquilla, Anya Sivertsen Ng, Suzzette Cruz, and Suhela Lamba picked up one apiece. Cruz is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Meanwhile, Whitney and Granite Bay were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but Whitney suffered a 14-13 defeat.

Despite the loss, Whitney saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lulu Im threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards.

Davis Sr.'s defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Whitney, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Davis Sr. was dealt a bruising 40-7 defeat at the hands of Whitney when the teams last played back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Im, who threw for 202 yards and five TDs, and also rushed for 43 yards.
