Football Recap: Xavier Takes a Loss

Xavier lost against Sheehan back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons took a 28-14 bruising from the Titans. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Josh Durant had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 190 yards and two TDs for Sheehan. Those 190 rushing yards gave Durant a new career-high.

Xavier's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sheehan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Xavier is set to face off against their familiar foe Hand at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Sheehan will challenge rival North Haven at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Durant and Artie McCormack IV.
