Basketball Recap: Islands Sharks vs. Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets
After flying high against The Habersham School last Tuesday, Islands came back down to earth. The Islands Sharks fell to the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets 55-50. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Sharks of the 78-54 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.
Islands now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Southeast Bulloch, they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.
Islands won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Memorial Day at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Southeast Bulloch, they and Claxton will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
