It was a good run, but East Poinsett County unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak dating back to last season on Friday. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside Rebels. The loss was the Warriors' first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why East Poinsett County lost, don't look at Tyrus Reel. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 14 on his way to 22 points. With that strong performance, Reel is now averaging an impressive 16 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Gaines, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, East Poinsett County fell to 3-1. As for Riverside, their record now sits at 16-2.
